Inquisitive and intuitive vie with caring and giving to best describe the real Sherry
Moser. When Sherry was a kid she was certain that she had no artistic talent at all,
but she always loved color and stained glass, especially dichroic glass. Convinced
that her fascination with dichroic glass stemmed from her artist father's occupation as
a neon tube bender, Sherry points out the similarity between electric neon colors and the
vibrant tones of dichroic glass.
Although she was a pediatric oncology nurse in her first career, it didn't take
Sherry long to develop her latent creative ability. She realized that stained glass,
combined with the right colors, light, and form, could be transformed into
beautiful pieces of art. Soon she was making her own innovative advances in the
kaleidoscopes world, with many of her pieces winning awards for their originality,
craftsmanship, and universal appeal. Sherry is among the few artists who have mastered
the superb technique of making liquid-filled ampules. She is also the first,
if not only, artist to inject a dry cell containing liquid-filled ampules into a larger
liquid cell.
